About the role

This position is part of the IBHS program which operates out of our Mt. Airy location and is an in-person position Monday through Thursday and remote on Fridays.

The IBHS program is designed for children, teens, and young adults up to age 21 who are experiencing emotional or behavioral challenges. Our services are provided in schools, homes, and the community by Behavioral Consultants, Mobile Therapists, and Behavioral Health Technicians.

Responsible for supervising the IBHS staff and monitoring compliance with adopted best practice standards/treatment models; implementing strategies to achieve goals developed for the department as part of the organization’s annual operating plan; ensuring compliance with operating policies and procedures and outside regulatory requirements; directly supervising assigned personnel; communicating with appropriate management and staff personnel; providing periodic reports.

This position requires minimal evening and weekend hours as appropriate for the supervision of the assigned staff. There is an expectation of at least one evening a week.

Education: Master’s degree in Social Work or related human service field; valid license for the practice of Clinical Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy or a valid license of Social Work or Behavior Specialist from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; LSW or BSL must have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct service practicum.

Experience: A minimum of three (3) years' related experience normally required, including experience working in the child welfare and mental health systems.
