Events Associate, Capital Access Platforms

Nasdaq is seeking a highly-organized and driven Event Associate to support the planning and execution of high-impact events for our Capital Access Platforms division. This role will be instrumental in supporting our participation and sponsorship of industry events, hosted events, as well as working closely with our MarketSite team to facilitate premium client experiences.

In this role, you will be tasked with supporting the delivery of various Events for Nasdaq’s Investment Intelligence. 

• Day to day planning of flagship events, conferences, seminars/briefings and round tables
• Responsible for logistics management, as well as post event re-caps with stakeholders
• Take part in the strategic planning of events together with the Marketing team and ensure these are in line with the overall business strategy
• Support planning and execution of major events including but not limited to, master site planning and execution, venue and facility management, vendor management, production, budgeting, and logistical planning and execution.
• Provide administrative support including meeting scheduling and managing follow ups.
• Assist with budget, invoice, billing and contract tracking/management for events.
• Conduct research on venues, vendors, logistics and technology, as needed.

We expect you to have

• Proven event planning expertise from ideation and strategic planning, to flawless execution of events
• Excellent stakeholder relationship management abilities both internal and external
• Ability to work under pressure and manage shifting priorities, working independently as well as in a team
• Adapt to an ever changing environment in the event planning sphere
• Excellent communication skills

• Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications or English
• Experience Required:  At least 1 year

The base pay range for this role is $65,000 - $85,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth. Exact compensation may vary based on several job-related factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, experience, education/training, business needs and market demands.
