Clinical Coordinator, RN ASU (59646)

Surgical Services Clinical Coordinator supports the Director, Assistant Director of Surgical Services in the planning, directing, and coordinating of the operations of the ASU, PAT and Endoscopy units. The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for providing functional direction to members of the health care teams while optimizing available resources to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Responsible for making clinical decisions based on individual patient needs, patient acuity, technological demands, staff member competency, skill mix, practice standards, scheduling policy, health care regulations and accreditation requirements

Education/Certification:

• Nursing degree from a licensed and accredited school. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Current, unencumbered North Carolina RN License.
• BLS and ACLS

Experience:

Required a minimum of 5 years experience as a RN in a Endoscopy unit and 1 year of experience in a PAT/ASU with evidence of leadership skills.
