YOUR ROLE
As an Operations team member, you will play a crucial role in delivering world class customer service and capabilities to our policyholders – now and in the future.
We are revolutionizing the analytics space in the Long-Term Care (LTC) Insurance industry via intuitive design, innovative solutions, and creative thought leadership. We have repeatedly shown the value of the analytics team and continue to invest in our growing strategic team. This is a new role reporting to the Sr. Data Science Manager in Operations Analytics, who is looking for a strategic thought leader and business analyst with a self-starter attitude to join our expanding, problem-solving team. This individual will harness the power of data to enhance the reporting and scorecard capabilities of our operations processes, build dashboards that measure effectiveness/efficiency, and project impact all while getting to present findings/insights to the leadership team. In this role, you will be instrumental in establishing communication channels that provide deep insights and metrics to identify and facilitate actionable business results. This individual will work closely with Operations leaders, Data Analysts, Data Scientists, and other GNW support functions across the organization to bring crucial metrics into strategy creation and operational execution.
What You Will Be Doing
Build strong partnerships and a collaborative environment with Operations teams to identify strategic opportunities to improve business operations and customer experiences.
Gather requirements from the business to develop scorecards and performance metrics to determine the appropriate way to evaluate our operations.
Build automated dashboards and reports to monitor operations and actuarial functions to promote self-service culture for business partners.
Utilizing various sources of information, work cross-functionally to identify business opportunities and provide recommendations for changes to processes based on trends and data analysis, applying knowledge of business strategy, customer experience, and financial goals.
Collaborate with business partners to understand their problems and goals, gather business requirements, and develop scorecards to support their vision and strategy.
Interact with internal and external peers and managers to exchange complex information.
Lead and manage initiatives and be able to present business insights to leadership team.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
