This position is hybrid and will require 3 days on site at one of the following Quest sites: Secaucus, NJ, Schaumburg, IL, Tampa, FL, Lenexa, KS, Norristown, PA, or Addison, TX.

The DevSecOps Engineer will be a part of the DevSecOps Enablement team. The team is tasked with a variety of complex responsibilities, but chief to this position is the enablement of DevSecOps concepts and technology in the organization. This role is responsible for the delivery of critical DevSecOps concepts including but not limited to; cloud enablement, agile delivery, CI/CD pipeline architecture, and implementation, continuous deployment, continuous monitoring, container and container orchestration, tool and technology management as well as other vital areas.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and apply Agile (SAFe, Scrum) and DevOps/DevSecOps practices to streamline product delivery and reliable operations of products.
- Create, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitLab, Terraform, and/or Ansible
- Implement security in the development of software via practices and tools such as GitLab, Qualys, Contrast, Wizio
- Collaborate with Cloud and infrastructure teams on provisioning and monitoring
- Collaborate with Cloud Architecture and Operations on designing pipelines in Cloud technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, AKS, EKS, ECS, Fargate, Serverless and/ or other technologies
- Collaborate with Product teams in order to develop, maintain and create new processes, procedures, and concepts relative to code creation
- Participate in peer code review process to ensure quality is at the forethought of everything we create
- Maintain tools and technologies utilized in the DevSecOps processes related but not limited to continuous delivery and automation deployment
- DevSecOps platform troubleshooting and problem-solving with cross-functional teams, across platforms and application domains
- Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements
- Keeping abreast of the new Quest Diagnostics initiatives and their technical impact on the organization
Qualifications:
Preferred Work Experience:
- Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in software development
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Minimum 5+ years of experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, Jenkins, Harness, Maven, Gradle
- Minimum 4+ years of experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and/or Ansible
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with Security tools such as GitLab CI, Qualys, Contrast, Twistlock, Veracode
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with Cloud database technologies such as Aurora, CloudSQL, S3 buckets, etc.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience with Agile practices including SAFe and/or Scrum
- Experience with Unix/Linux, Windows Server, Tomcat, Springboot, WebLogic, Apache/ Nginx, Redis, Java, SQL, Unix/Linux, HL7, XML, FTP, TCP/IP preferred
- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Graphite, Nagios, Elk Prometheus, or Splunk preferred
- Experience with testing automation stack such as CucumberJS, Selenium, or similar test automation tools is a plus
- Knowledge of cloud networking such as VPC, DNS, CDN, load balancing, and firewall
- Understanding of TLS, certificates, keystore and truststore, OAUTH2.0
- Experience with ticketing systems such as Service Now or HP Service Manager is a plus
- Excellent proficiency in problem-solving and troubleshooting issues
