Job Description Summary

The Workplace Safety & Climate Risk Analyst for the Americas Region supports the Client’s global Workplace Safety program by conducting audits, collecting built-environment safety data, coordinating compliance activities, and ensuring accurate reporting across their assigned Region. This role plays a key part in identifying risks, monitoring corrective actions, maintaining regulatory documentation, and supporting environmental/climate-related assessments.

Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Workplace Safety & Climate Risk Audits & Compliance Monitoring

  • Conduct and support annual and scheduled workplace safety and climate risk audits for the assigned Region using the client’s EHS platforms and audit tools.
  • Document deficiencies, assign corrective actions, and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Upload audit evidence, maintain data accuracy, and support facility teams in completing required audit documents.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and Client’s global Workplace Safety protocols.

2. Data Collection, Analysis & Reporting

  • Gather and analyze safety performance data such as audit scores, IAQ results, incident trends, corrective action closure rates, and built-environment compliance metrics.
  • Support preparation of the Global Mid-Year and Annual Workplace Safety Reports.
  • Produce quarterly summaries and safety performance data for RES leadership.
  • Track and report on indoor air quality testing outcomes and ensure reports are properly filed and accessible.
  • Maintain dashboards and databases used by the Workplace Safety team to monitor performance, risks, and regulatory updates.
  • Assist with the assembly of business cases for Transaction Management

3. Climate & Environmental Risk Monitoring

  • Contribute to regulatory climate-related reporting and sustainability-aligned safety metrics as required.
  • Utilize Client’s software to identity location specific Climate risk data and report as requested

4. Coordination With Facility Teams & Compliance Partners

  • Serve as a point of contact for safety-related inquiries through the Workplace Safety & Climate Risk inboxes; respond within one business day.
  • Share regulatory updates with facility teams and coordinate issuance of corrective work orders when required.
  • Train facility team representatives on audit processes, evidence requirements, and use of safety systems/platforms.
  • Participate in internal and client safety meetings, including safety committee sessions.

5. Incident & Critical Response Support

  • Support incident reporting, data entry, and tracking of corrective actions related to built-environment safety concerns.
  • Ensure timely escalation of serious incidents, life-safety risks, or regulatory citations per the Workplace Safety escalation protocol.

6. Additional Responsibilities

  • Support ad-hoc requests related to regional compliance changes, safety inquiries, or audit adjustments.
  • Assist with continuous improvement initiatives within the global Workplace Safety service line.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong analytical and data-gathering skills with the ability to synthesize findings into reports.
  • Working knowledge of safety audits, environmental monitoring, or regulatory compliance is preferred.
  • Familiarity with workplace safety requirements (e.g., OSHA or local equivalents), chemical SDS management, and basic built-environment systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate clearly with facility teams, vendors, and cross-functional partners.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar data/reporting tools preferred.
  • Ability to work in a global environment and support multiple regions/time zones.
