AWS Change Management Manager, AWS Partner Organization

About the role
Amazon Web Services (AWS), a leader in cloud computing, is seeking a curious, intelligent, self-motivated and creative change management professional who is looking to apply their skills and experience in innovative ways. This role will be responsible for delivering high-quality adoption strategies through change management principles as part of our AWS Partner Organization Change Management team.
In this role you will earn trust through performance and relationship building. You will utilize strategic thinking and and analytics to approach business challenges. You will work cross-functionally in the AWS Partner Organization utilizing your background in Change Management principles to assist the business in meeting it's objectives. You will approach your work decisively and with high standards for the output. You will seek to embody Amazon culture & leadership principals while juggling the priorities related to driving/adopting change to break through established routines. You will utilize business insights and methodical skills to influence teams' understanding of how to adopt changes and be committed to problem solving, getting things done and finding workarounds to not jeopardize deadlines. You will have a collaborative work style, an innovative mindset, and an desire to put out high quality work product.
You already have an excellent record of complex change program delivery, from conception and design through implementation, measurement, closure and handover AND you are ready to bring your skills and knowledge to AWS.
Key job responsibilities
• Scope and deliver complex, business critical change management programs end-to-end; drive and shape the overall program’s strategy and roadmap.
• Implement your change plans including a comprehensive communications plan.
• Define and drive adoption of change management policies and best practices.
• Drive alignment on change strategies and tactics across key groups and executive-level stakeholders.
• Use data to drive continuous improvement of programs and processes.
• Develop clear, concise communications focused on creating the maximum impact/understanding.
• Define and execute the project plan from design to release, securing resources, and managing implementation.
• Clearly communicate goals, roles, responsibilities, and desired outcomes.
• Liaise with all departments to ensure relevant areas are engaged in time to develop deliverables within their area to support project deliverables. Support partner teams to refine processes and increase efficiency in line with program objectives.
• Make appropriate tradeoffs to optimize time-to-market in consultation with stakeholders.
• Manage multiple internal and external, cross functional and remote stakeholders.
• Develop change processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support.
• Track delivery against program objectives and implement proposals to improve program services and efficiencies.
• Scale existing programs to expand coverage of existing services or programs to additional domestic and international locations.
• 4+ years experience as a change management manager with a track record of successful delivery and adoption
• 10+ years experience leading complex cross-organizational projects delivered on time and with high quality
• 10+ years technology industry experience
• Exemplary writing and communication skills
• Prosci/Change Management Certified
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
• Experience collaborating to design and implement process improvements
• Understanding of AWS services
• Experience working with global teams
• Strong organizational skills and attention-to-detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize well in a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Proven ability to manage and report against progress, mitigate risks, and make trade off decisions

The base pay for this position ranges from $107,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Basic Qualifications
• 4+ years experience as a change management manager with a track record of successful delivery and adoption
• 10+ years experience leading complex cross-organizational projects delivered on time and with high quality
• 10+ years technology industry experience

• Experience with partner/channel relationships at a tech company• Prosci/Change Management Certified
