IT PROJECT MANAGER, SENIOR

The IT Senior Project Manager independently manages multiple complex, medium and large size projects concurrently through their life cycle. The IT Senior Project Manager manages execution of technology projects, providing a combination of project management skills and infrastructure technical knowledge, coordinating the delivery across multiple internal and external stakeholders. They work with business management to analyze and define the project business case, develop level of effort estimates and manage the project review and initiation process. The Senior Project Manager develops, defines and executes project plans, schedules, budgets, scope and deliverables. They work closely with business and IT managers to create and manage project resource plans and actively manage assigned staff to complete tasks per the agreed upon to project plan. The IT Senior Project Manager manages progress from initiation through close, and actively manages project issues and risks, facilitates business decisions and manages project communications and status reporting. This is a hybrid professional position providing bridged skill sets between IT Infrastructure, IT Project Management and Business application needs. They work with business and IT leaders to define and execute organization and support change plans. They are accountable to project leadership to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
They are an engaged member of the IT Project Management Community and use, support and help improve Children's Project Management Life Cycle (PMLC) methodology, guidelines and defined tools. The Senior Project Manager is a mentor for project managers and acts as a project management advocate and champion to the business.

Note: This is a hybrid remote position; must be local to Seattle area.

  

Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, Math, or related field OR equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrate technical competence. - Minimum of five (5) years experience as a project manager. - Experience implementing/supporting medium to large scale system implementations and managing project budgets.

Preferred
BA/BS degree. Three (3) years healthcare experience. Healthcare technology support or implementation experience. Knowledge of healthcare systems. Financial management experience. Vendor management experience. Understanding of both waterfall and agile project management methodologies. Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification. Agile certification.

Compensation Range

$115,277.00 - $172,915.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
