About the role

The Sterile Processing Technician will be responsible for the cleaning, inspection, sterilization and distribution of sterile instrumentation and equipment. They will work collaboratively with other departments to ensure all supplies, instrumentation and equipment are available for procedures. They will be knowledgeable in sterile processing standards and serve as a patient safety advocate.

Available opportunities:

  • Full-time, 1 FTE (40 working hours per week), evening shift
  • Per diem, 0.01 FTE (0.4 working hours per week), variable shift

Required Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Within 1 year of hire National Certified Registered Central Service Technician - Healthcare Sterile Processing Association Or
  • Required within 1 year of hire National Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician - Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Coursework/Training Sterile Processing and Distribution Or
  • Coursework/Training Surgical Technician 
  • Previous experience in Sterile Processing or knowledge of surgical instrumentation.

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
