Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Developer Lead IV in San Antonio, TX.

The Software Developer Lead IV informs product decisions by applying an understanding of data pipeline techniques and issues, including Application Programming Interface (API) access and integration; pre-processing; cloud security, process, and schema optimization; and the pros and cons of programming languages and associated packages. The Software Developer Lead IV is an SME with expertise in all phases of application development.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Direct and encourage the Engineering Team to promptly deliver best-in-class technical solutions.
  • Leverage or build cloud-based architectures, technologies, and/or platforms to deliver optimized machine learning (ML)-backed solutions at scale.
  • Communicate with the Technical Project Manager to interpret customer requirements and assign engineering tasks accordingly and collaborate with the Technical Project Manager and team members to architect solutions that exceed customer expectations.
  • Design and develop cloud-based software solutions designed to ingest and process data from various sources and contribute to solutions that provide predictive models with raw data
  • Supervises, and mentors subordinate project and Team ManTech staff.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12 years of related experience as a Software Developer or similar position
  • Experience with Front End and Back End Development (Full Stack)
  • Experience with Multiple Coding Languages (Java, C, C++, C#, Python etc.)
  • DoD 8570.01-m Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II Certification, Security + or Equivalent within 6 months of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
  • IAT III Certification, CISSP (Certified Information System Security Professional) or Equivalent
  • Leadership Experience

Minimum Education:

  • BS/BA or Equivalent Experience

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Unclassified
  • Must be US Citizen and Eligible to Obtain Security Clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
  • Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
