We are growing our locations and are investing more than $2 billion into establishing a new large-scale manufacturing site for biopharmaceuticals in the United States to accelerate the growth of our Bio CDMO (Contract and Development Manufacturing Organization) business. This will be the largest end-to-end cell culture CDMO provider in North America.

 

The new site will offer end-to-end solutions to our customers looking to manufacture biopharmaceuticals in the US. In addition to drug substance manufacture, it will also provide automated fill-finish and assembly, packaging, and labeling services. The new state-of-the-art facility is located in Holly Springs, North Carolina, United States.

 

Job Description

What You’ll Do

  • Supports the development and execution of the financial planning process, partnering with business units to develop financial plans that align with the business goals
  • Monitors key performance indicators of financial targets, actuals versus budget/forecast
  • Analyzes financial data, performs variance analysis, identifies trends and makes recommendations for improvements
  • Assists with the monthly, quarterly and annual financial close process
  • Cultivates strong relationships with business partners within the organization, builds rapport and a collaborative working relationship
  • Partners with business units to manage and maintain their Strategic Workforce Plans (SWP) that align with the business goals
  • Prepares financial reports and analysis ensuring a high degree of quality, accuracy, and timeliness
  • Obtains and maintains a thorough understanding of the business operations and financial systems
  • Assists with developing and maintaining capital expenditure models for budgeting, tracking, reporting and capitalization
  • Applies knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and Company policies to solve moderate to complex problems
  • Supports process improvements in finance and accounting processes
  • Conducts and supports ad hoc finance and accounting requests and assignments, as assigned
  • Performs other duties, as assigned

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field
  • 2 year’s of experience in accounting/finance experience or related role
  • Working experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting for financial results

Preferred Requirements / Certifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field with 2-4 year’s of experience in finance/financial planning and analysis role or related finance/analytical role
