Senior IT Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our team. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the successful planning, execution, and completion of various projects within our organization. Your role will involve managing project scope, timelines, resources, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are achieved effectively and efficiently. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning and Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, defining project goals, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria. Create project schedules, identify milestones, and manage project dependencies. Execute projects according to established plans, monitoring progress and making necessary adjustments to ensure successful project completion.

 

• Resource Management: Identify project resource requirements and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to allocate resources appropriately. Manage resource availability, capacity, and utilization to ensure optimal project performance. Ensure the right resources are assigned to the right tasks at the right time.

 

• Stakeholder Communication: Establish and maintain effective communication channels with project stakeholders, including team members, clients, and executives. Facilitate regular project status meetings, provide timely updates, and address stakeholder concerns and feedback. Foster a collaborative and transparent environment for effective stakeholder engagement.

 

• Risk and Issue Management: Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project delivery. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans. Proactively monitor and manage risks throughout the project lifecycle. Promptly address issues, escalate as necessary, and drive resolution to minimize project disruptions.

 

• Quality Assurance: Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and customer expectations. Implement appropriate quality control measures, conduct reviews and inspections, and implement corrective actions when needed. Continuously monitor project performance and implement process improvements to enhance project outcomes.

 

• Budget and Cost Management: Develop project budgets and monitor project expenses to ensure adherence to approved budgets. Track project costs, analyze variances, and provide accurate financial reporting. Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement measures to optimize project expenditures.

 

• Team Leadership and Development: Lead cross-functional project teams, providing clear direction, guidance, and support. Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture. Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and recognize team achievements. Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Project Management, Business Administration)
• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager, successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Solid problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset
• Proficient in project management software and tools
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is desirable
• The Senior Project Manager will have proven experience at the following proficiency levels:
  1. Advanced - Demonstrates in-depth proficiency level sufficient to assist, consult with or lead others in the application of this skill or competency. Has in-depth knowledge in the subject matter area.
  2. Expert - Demonstrates broad, in-depth proficiency to be recognized as an authority or master performer in the applications of this skill or competency. Has recognized authority/expert in subject matter area.

Work Environment:

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced technology environment.
• Willing to complete tasks under strict time constraints, which may require long, off-hour and weekend work.
• Willing to work on-site at any of our casino resorts, which may include exposure to noise, smoke, and populated areas.
