Overview

This position is located Naval Health Clinic Kings Bay, GA-NH Jackonville FL.

 

The psychologist will provide oversight, guidance, and direct care in support of patients' mental / behavioral health, providing an opportunity to meaningfully impact psychological readiness and resilience, while serving as a key member of an integrated healthcare team dedicated to the well-being of the Navy.

Salary Range: $105,383 to - $137,000 per year

Responsibilities

 

Responsibilites

Direct Patient Care- Provide targeted, evidence-based assessments and interventions in brief 30-minute appointments for a wide range of behavioral, chronic medical, and health conditions.

 

Team Collaboration-Act as a core member of the Primary Care team. Participate in daily huddles, facilitate "warm handoffs" from providers, and offer expert consultation on patient care.

 

 

Program Development- Develop, teach, and oversee health education classes for patients. Provide training to primary care staff to enhance the integration of behavioral health services.

 

Clinical Excellence-Utilize a stepped-care approach to maximize patient access. Monitor treatment effectiveness with measurable outcomes and ensure timely, concise documentation.

Qualifications

US Citizenship required

 

Must have practiced as a licensed independent practioner within the past two years

 

Doctoral Degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to full professional work in clinical psychology.

 

A current, active, valid, and unrestricted clinical license to practice Psychology independently from a U.S. State, the District of Columbia, Commonwealth, territory, or jurisdiction is required.

 

Candidates will have completed an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited doctoral graduate program and an APA accredited predoctoral internship.
