As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Financial in Atlanta, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will be responsible for conducting thorough patrols and maintaining a strong presence at a financial institution location. Your role will involve monitoring assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents, and responding promptly to any unusual activity. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution's premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or breaches of protocol.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or irregularities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when required, providing assistance as directed.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted activity and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have 5 or more years of security-related experience and a combination of 3 or more years of law enforcement, military, adult corrections experience or possess a Bachelors college degree in Criminal Justice.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Must be comfortable using a computer or tablet; this is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
