Senior Associate Diversity, Inclusion & Belonging

What you will do

Let’s do this. Let’s change the world. In this vital role as the GCO US Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging Associate you will be responsible for supporting Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging (DI&B) initiatives and events (e.g., DI&B overview materials, engagement tracking, resource dissemination) in the virtual and in-person settings. The senior associate will also support communications and data gathering for presentations and cross-functional collaborations.

  • Support DI&B engagement events as needed
  • Management and collation of resources and data resources
  • Content Management
  • Program Support Management
  • Run and/or distribute reports from various systems (e.g., Learning Hub, Degreed, SmartSheet)
  • Manage and send communications in support of DI&B initiatives and data collection
  • Maintain and archive records aligned with various prioritized projects
  • Understand and help support DI&B Lead with resource tools and activities associated with prioritized projects.
  • Assist DI&B Lead with creating resources and building presentations, if necessary
  • Collaborate with management on calendars and event planning
  • Assist with monitoring specific DI&B team email inboxes to answer questions, provide information and/or resolve issues
  • Adhere to processes and standards and suggest improvements

Basic Qualifications:

Master’s degree

OR

Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of directly related experience in Program Management, Business, Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology Industry

OR

Associate’s degree and 6 years of directly related experience in Program Management, Business, Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology Industry

OR

High school diploma / GED and 8 years of directly related experience in Program Management, Business, Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology Industry

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2 years in Program Management, Business, Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology Industry OR
  • Previous job experience in managing programs and coordinating projects in the Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology Industry or operations
  • Proven ability / experience coordinating small to large collaborative events
  • Experience with managing relationships with competing demands and priorities
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work well in teams and interact effectively with various levels of management
  • Willingness to be flexible to meet team goals and priorities
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with databases and business analysis tools (e.g., Tableau, SmartSheet) a plus
  • Able to lift 25 lbs

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
