JELD-WEN is currently seeking a Field Service Technician - Idaho Falls, ID to join our growing team.
The Opportunity
Jobsite safety is our number one priority! The Field Service Technician will provide warranty service for installed windows and doors.

Must reside within a 20-mile radius of Idaho Falls or Bozeman, MT as this position will cover the territory of Southern Idaho, Northern Utah, Western Wyoming, and Western Montana.
What You Will Do
- Perform warranty service work on various products and accurately inspect JELD-WEN window and door products to find the root cause of service issues.
- Complete daily assigned warranty field service tasks while taking quality photos and report accurate and complete product and construction issues.
- Maintain tools and service vehicles in proper and safe working order.
- Operate company service vehicles in a safe and considerate manner.
- Become familiar with all JELD-WEN products in your coverage region.
- Follow JELD-WEN policies and procedures while operating safely, professionally, and efficiently.
- Submit timely field service reports, expense reports, vehicle and equipment safety checklist reports.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Weekly travel with overnight stays and overtime is a requirement with this position, along with flexible working hours. Possible overnight travel (up to 70%).
Who You Are
- Must have a high school diploma or high school equivalency diploma (HSED).
- Have a solid safety awareness propensity. Safety first, above all else!
- Field service technician experience with repairing, reglazing, and adjusting windows and doors.
- Have carpentry skills, use hand and power tools, and measuring devices.
- The ability to lift 70 lbs., climb, lift, pull, and safely perform tasks on a ladder, scaffolding, or other raised devices.
How You Stand Out
- Previous experience in construction or a similar environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of window and door installation and repair practices.
- Strong customer service skills, excellent communication ability, and enjoy problem solving.
