As a Cash Accounting Specialist on the Accounting team, a typical day for you will include:

• Prepare and balance daily invoices, payment batches, cash receipts and update accounts receivable ledger by customer based on brand 

• Process and review of monthly capitalization, disposal, and inter-company transfer  

• Analysis of aged capital projects  

• Assist the Treasury team with cash transactions by reviewing and entering daily cash transactions to maintain accurate balances in the accounting system for assigned bank accounts 

• Perform timely monthly bank reconciliations for assigned bank accounts, including reconciliation to the general ledger on the as needed basis 

• Identify, troubleshoot, and follow through to resolution of any problems, errors, unusual items, or discrepancies related to cash transactions

(Required qualifications)

• Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience working in a Shared Service environment (accounts receivable/accounts payable preferably)
• Skills:
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and accurate 
  • Works well with a team or individually  
  • Takes ownership, manages priorities, and meets deadlines 
• Education: High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required. Associates degree in accounting preferred,
• Schedule / in-office requirements: Hybrid role; 3 days in office, 2 days remote.
