School Bus Drivers for 2025-26 School Year

Our Bus Drivers are an essential part in our educational system, and we value their contributions. We offer excellent development opportunities, a competitive salary, up to a 35 hour work week, paid holidays, and insurance for all drivers.

The School Bus Driver is responsible for safely operating the school bus according to a set daily schedule, as well as following all State laws and school district policies. Drivers are also responsible for maintaining a safe environment within the bus by enforcing rules of conduct and responding to emergencies. 

School Bus Driver Qualifications:

• Current CDL/Bus Driver permit and previous work experience is preferred
• Ability to qualify for CDL license and School Bus Driver permit
  • District 211 will provide paid training, for CDL license and School Bus Driver permit, to outstanding applicants.

Immediately Available Positions:

• Immediate Openings for School Bus Drivers with a valid CDL license with no restrictions and a school bus permit
• Miniumum of 4 hours per day up to 7.5 hours per day
• We offer 205 work days per school year
