TITLE: Digital Engagement Video Production Specialist

DUTIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• This student position works with Babson’s Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving Office to assist in telling the story of donor impact through creating and editing videos. The ideal candidate is comfortable being on both sides of the camera and has a track record of video content.
• Understanding and applying basic principles of filming for different platforms (e.g, social media vs. email) in addition to staying informed of current video trends to guide framing and pacing is essential. Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro is preferred.
• As a representative of Babson, excellent communication and conversational skills are required for the job.
• Must be reliable, responsible, professional, and punctual.
• Will be required to periodically participate in alumni and parent Digital Engagement fundraising outreach (through email, text, calling) using GiveCampus Go software. Mandatory training will be provided.
• Enthusiasm, professionalism, confidentiality, honesty, and a respectful manner are essential.
• The ability to work well with all personality types is important.
• A genuine interest in speaking with Babson alumni and parents, and confidence in being able to ask for donations to the College is necessary. The money that the student employee raises for Babson helps to bridge the financial gap between what is collected in tuition, and the actual cost to educate students and operate the College each year.

Work Schedule: The schedule will be determined each week and will vary depending on the requirements of the department, as well as the student employee’s class schedule.  

(Qualified student candidates who have been awarded Federal Work Study will be given priority consideration.)
