SUMMARY

Perry Ellis International is looking for a responsible individual who has a passion for the retail industry. The person will supervise the supply chain to ensure timely execution of the main steps. Follow standard procedures for the validation and allocation process. Candidate must have the ability to work well with co-workers and other staff members in various depts. Must be able to multitask, take on assignments given, detail oriented, capable of working under pressure and ability to make quick and appropriate decisions that will benefit the company and our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Validate EDI orders.
  • Allocate orders and distribute to the different warehouses.
  • Process and track all orders whether they are make-up or stock.
  • Work in conjunction with Purchasing, Imports, Sales, Planning and the warehouses to expedite orders in a timely manner.
  • Request distros and extensions when needed.
  • Provide customer service to accounts when needed.
  • Maintain clean reports, files and documentations for future needs.
  • Ensure that Sarbanes/Oxley Act is being adhered to within the sales team.
  • Assist Claims Department in resolving chargebacks whenever information is requested by them.
  • Work closely with Inventory Control to monitor the accuracy of the inventory.
  • Follow up on Special Project forms.

SKILLS:

  • Proficient with Google Drive/Applications related software.
  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual a plus
  • Excellent Sales and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

REQUIREMENTS

  • AA or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Retail or wholesale apparel background preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours depending on workload.
  • Computer Skills
  • Able to travel as needed
