Intern Data Science, HERE Tracking-Tampere

What's the role?

Team:HERE Tracking provides visibility and predictability to global logistic networks like never before. Attaching a small tracker to every shipment in the world enables us to predict delays, save costs, and optimize the deliveries to save the environment.As a Data Science intern with Tracking Product, you will be part of the Tracking engineering team. You will work closely with the HERE Tracking Cloud developers, architects, and colleagues in the data science team to improve Tracking Cloud’s machine learning models. This is an excellent opportunity to work with an energetic and dedicated team of software engineers, creating solutions with a direct impact on the success of the company. 

 

Responsibilities:  

• Data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing
• Building and optimizing machine learning models
• Conducting exploratory data analysis (EDA)
• Developing dashboards and visualizations for insights

Who are you?

• You are pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• You have experience with Python, including data manipulation and visualization.
• You are familiar with Amazon SageMaker, TensorFlow, or similar machine learning (ML) tools and/or services.
• You know how to use Git version control.
• You are eager to expand your expertise in ML, data analytics, and big data.
• You are open-minded, have willingness to learn and the ability to adopt new technologies, and can communicate in English.
