Product Owner for Global User Awareness (GUA)

 

About the Job 

 

As Product Owner for Global User Awareness (GUA), you will play a key role in driving Allianz’s global awareness strategy as part of our Information Security team.

The Global User Awareness service aims to strengthen the “Human Firewall” by providing our global customers with a comprehensive and standardized awareness offering – including centrally supported tools and learning materials. Together with our international network of awareness administrators, we help employees across the organization recognize cyber threats and adopt secure behaviours.

What you do

 

• Own and manage the Global User Awareness product within the Information Security portfolio.
• Define and prioritize the product vision, roadmap, and backlog in close alignment with global stakeholders.
• Drive the design, implementation, and improvement of scalable awareness services (e.g., e-learnings, phishing simulations, campaigns).
• Collaborate closely with awareness teams in business entities worldwide.
• Work in close partnership with the Allianz Group, the Allianz Cyber Defense Center (ACDC), and other internal teams to align and integrate awareness efforts.
• Ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements in information security.
• Monitor KPIs, collect feedback, and stay on top of cyber trends to continuously evolve the service.
• Take ownership of tools and solutions related to phishing awareness and phishing defense as part of our Human Firewall initiative, including responsibility for service management, and ensuring optimal performance and integration within the Information Security portfolio.

 

 

What you bring

 

• A high degree of professionalism, professional curiosity and skepticism, organizational, analytical and project management skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation and organizational skills with high self-motivation, intercultural competence, and a collaborative mindset.
• Ability to work independently in an international team across multiple locations with global stakeholders.
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, ideally in cybersecurity or awareness programs.
• Proficient in agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum).
• Strong understanding of user needs, communication strategies, and digital learning methods.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Basic knowledge of AI technologies, principles, and their practical use.
