Starting Salary: 20/hour

Shift: 3rd Shift:10pm to 6:30 am Sun Through Thursday

 

Job Profile:

 

The Production Operator is an entry level position in the Mounting department. This 
position is responsible following customer specs, preparation of carrier sheets and mounting of 
flexographic printing plates, pulling multi-color proofs and packaging of plates before shipping. 

 

Functions/Responsibilities:

 

• Cutting and assembling carrier sheets to customer specs with quality in mind; Flat mounting 
  photopolymer plates to customer specs with quality in mind; Proofing plates per customer specs, as well as ensuring all plates, mounts and proofs meet our strict quality.
• QC of backing and/or mounted plates.
• Continues progression of 5S and shows incremental improvements on monthly audits.
• Attends necessary meetings to aid business and organizational development and completes continual learning training.
• Adheres to established safety and training regarding corporate goals and expectations.
• Completes continual learning training throughout the year.
• Other duties as assigned
   

Requirements:
 

• Customer focused with strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience in a Plate mounting role is preferred.
• Ability to communicate appropriately with diverse types of audiences.

Education:

 

• High school Diploma required
