The Work You Will Do:

FMS/AMS Specialist IV / DISTRICT ONE / TRAFFIC OPERATIONS / TSM&O

 

This position will lead a network architecture team on large cross-functional application projects, evaluate and make recommendations relating to the application of new technology to support the Department’s FMS/AMS programs, develop and programs Freeway Management System (FMS)/Arterial Management System (AMS) projects that facilitate operation of freeway/arterial management systems and incident management, develop and manage professional and contractual services contracts and other types of agreements  that support Traffic Operations functions, perform engineering review and analysis, supports development of the Department's Transportation Systems Management & Operations (TSM&O) program at the district, regional and statewide levels and provide review comments on plan submittals generated by the department and other entities.
