The role of Care and Support Assistant will include:

• Delivering a high level of personalised care and support and encouraging our customers to live as independent as possible
• Supporting customers with washing, dressing, bathing, and hygiene
• Conducting bed calls and morning calls to a high standard
• Administering medication
• Working with customers and other staff members to ensure a clean and comfortable environment
• Promoting safe practices and undertaking risk assessments
   

Skills and experiences:

• NVQ2 in Health & Social Care, or willing to work towards is desirable
• Some experience of basic health care and hygiene standards
• Enthusiastic and flexible with a strong “can-do” attitude
• Strong organisational skills, as well as functional literacy and numeracy
• Basic understanding of the Health and Safety at Work Act
• Ability to demonstrate a positive and accepting approach to customers whatever their needs
