Technically lead a team of architects and Engineers within your discipline, ensuring project goals and deliverables are met with high quality and on time, he/she will be responsible for making design decisions, coordinating technical discussions with customers/suppliers and identifying new <span>tools/platforms/standards</span> as per industry demands.</span></b></p><p></p><p><b><b>Responsibilities</b></b></p><p></p> <ul><li><p><b><span>Provide solutions for complex software design problems.</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Technical design and implementation of ADAS, AD and IVI systems based on High performance SoCs Platforms (Qualcomm, NVIDIA, Renesas).</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Closely collaborate with other domain experts across SoC/Hardware, Firmware, Safety, Security and Algorithms to define the functional specifications, design modular software components and interaction models, well-defined public and private interfaces, resource management and debugging tools.</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Lead the system level profiling and optimization of end-to-end use-cases, identify and address bottlenecks across heterogenous computational units and realize efficient implementations.</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Actively engage with OS and Framework vendors, Automotive OEMs, Tier-1s and ISVs to implement solutions based on High performance platforms.</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Evaluate, identify and develop solutions for new and changed requirements</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Identify and provide directions for solving critical issues in software and hardware solutions</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Decompose and allocate Sw requirements to different teams / architects</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Contribute to Software Design Reviews and Process Improvement activities as required</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Complete scheduled tasks within assigned projects to deliver as per agreed Timing Plan</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Adherence to Valeo procedures leading to full SPICE (ISO15504) Compliance for all relevant processes, in particular ENG.4 and ENG.5</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Help the </span><span>Software Lead / Software requirements engineers to decompose to different teams</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Act as the SPOC with Multiple teams for architectural decisions</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Help Software Lead/Manager in estimation, Change request /feasibility analysis</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Training/mentoring of Software architects in the the assigned project</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Maintain KPI Lists regarding <span>traceability/coverage</span></span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Technically Lead a team of architects for completion of design activities</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Make sure that all architects in the project adhere to the process and Technical review checklists</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Lead the Communication with Customer regarding Technical topics</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Participate in Software Architecture Design Reviews of other projects</span></b></p></li></ul><p></p><p><b><b>Education/Training</b></b></p><ul><li><p><b><span>Honours Degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Masters or PhD level qualification would be an <span>advantage  </span></span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Strong in C/C++, One RTOS, Embedded Systems  </span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Strong understanding of QNX/Linux operating system and hands-on experience with QNX/Linux kernel configuration, boot sequence analysis, CPU Load analysis, timing analysis</span></b></p></li></ul> <p><b><b>Professional</b><b> </b><b>Experience</b></b></p><ul><li><p><b><span>Honours Degree in Electronic Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Masters or PhD level qualification would be an advantage</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>4+ years experience in software architecture and design</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>15 years Embedded software development ideally in automotive industry/ Embedded domain</span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Understanding of the software development life cycle </span></b></p></li><li><p><b><span>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</span></b></p></l
