<h2>Overview</h2>
<p>The EMEA Payroll Supervisor position is a leadership opportunity focused on supporting management and elevating our regional payroll processing in Europe, Middle East, and Africa. The EMEA Payroll Supervisor is a role that supports EMEA Scope of countries. The position will also play a key role in supporting the end-to-end payroll process outsourced to our 3rd party vendors to ensure payroll accuracy and compliance in multiple countries. The EMEA Payroll Supervisor will be a part of the Global Finance Shared Services organization.</p>

<p><strong>How You’ll make an impact:</strong></p>

<li>Participate in ongoing internal process improvements.</li>
</ul>
<p>Ensure <strong>accurate and timely processing</strong> of the Company’s payroll in EMEA countries:</p>
<ul>
<li>Payroll issues are escalated and resolved with root cause analysis and corrective action for all levels of employees and management, with a focus on ensuring a positive and seamless employee experience in partnership with HR Shared Services. Responsible for day-to-day oversight for issues and positive seamless </li>
<li>Oversee the timely preparation, processing, maintenance and appropriate distribution of payroll information, payroll reports, all tax year end reports, payroll manuals and related payroll working instructions</li>
<li>Establish partnerships with third party vendors to ensure effective service delivery</li>
<li>Be a back up for the payroll team (end to finish payroll process)</li>
<li>Ensure payroll services are processed in accordance with established global policies and procedures along with all legislative <strong>compliance</strong> requirements (including tax and labor laws)</li>
<li>Directs and audits payroll procedures to include earnings, garnishments, tax withholding, and absence processing and ensure compliance with organizational procedures</li>
<li>Work closely with Legal, Compliance, and Benefits teams to identify, resolve, and avoid payroll compliance issues</li>
<li>Identify and drive <strong>continuous performance improvement</strong> projects to improve payroll accuracy, compliance, productivity and / or employee satisfaction within EMEA</li>
<li>Ensure end-to-end processes are well-thought through to address customer and regulatory requirements</li>
<li>Develop and implement best practices, key performance indicators and SLA metrics for department</li>
<li><strong>Support payroll manager with team’s development</strong> to optimize operational excellence and create a deeper bench of experienced talent</li>
<li>Manage projects across multi-disciplinary functions of Payroll within allotted timeframes and budgets</li>
<li>Maintains confidentiality of any payroll, private employee information and any proprietary information and ensures payroll information is secure</li>
</ul>

<li>Address performance issues</li>
<li>Approves vacation requests</li>
<li>Determines initial and on-going training requirements to run an efficient operation</li>

<p><strong>What You’ll bring: </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience & CIPP certification </li>
<li>Additional degrees/certifications such as: MBA, Six Sigma, etc. enhance candidacy</li>
<li>7 -10 years of relevant experience in payroll in a diverse, complex global enterprise, 2-3 years of experience in managing a small team (1-3 direct reports)</li>
<li>Fluent (both orally and in writing) in <strong>English and German</strong></li>
<li>Experience with German speaking countries</li>
<li>Experience in managing third-party payroll services providers</li>
<li>Experience working in systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors, ADP Celergo & ADP Global View, ADP E-Time and Microsoft Office Suite</li>
<li>Experience in payroll system implementation – data validation and data analysis, implementation of Payroll Internal Controls and Procedures</li>
<li>Knowledge and experience with stock, travel and time and attendance programs</li>
<li>Proactive, motivated, results oriented individual capable of partnering with diverse perspectives and backgrounds to negotiate positive outcomes that impact the work of internal, external and cross-functional partners</li>
<li>Demonstrated focus on providing an excellent employee experience</li>
