As the Sales Support Supervisor, you will monitor and assist with day-to-day sales operations and supervise the assigned sales support team, including hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and developing team members.

What you'll be doing:

  • Provide daily sales support via phone and email in a timely manner.

  • Monitor and/or assist sales support staff with duties where required, spending at least 50% of your day working in day-to-day sales operations.

  • Answer all complex inquiries relevant to sales support and work on resolution. Identifies the internal resources required to meet the requests.

  • Provide supervision and technical assistance to sales support team to attain departmental and organizational goals.

  • Hire and train sales support staff to deliver a best-in-class experience to our rep partners, ensuring we uphold our value of being Easiest to Do Business With.

  • Perform annual reviews, appraisals, and performance management reviews for the sales support team.

  • Coach, mentor and develop team members. Lead by example and portray high levels of integrity and professionalism.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement for the sales support team and execute on those initiatives individually or through a team.

  • May be required to own strategic sales operations initiatives or programs.

  • Provide data to sales team or business units on sales history, market trends, and discount activity.

  • Gather feedback from reps and end-users on customer service, pricing, lead times, and market competition.

  • Attend sales training seminars and factory visits. Occasional travel to rep offices – ability to be professional and effective in public speaking.

 

What you should have:

  • 4-6 years of relevant work experience required.

  • 1-2 years of relevant leadership experience required.

  • Advanced computer skills (i.e., CAPS, SAP, CRM, PBI, etc.) required.

  • Advanced analytical ability required, along with effective critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • 4 Year / Bachelor Degree or equivalent years of job experience required.

  • Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.

  • Public speaking skills, including the ability to present to a large audience.

  • Must be able to travel to rep offices as needed.

  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills and excellent customer service skills.

  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment with high level of attention to detail.

  • Lead by example, displaying high levels of integrity and professionalism.

  • Make quick and accurate decisions on complex issues; ability to summarize and effectively communicate to any audience.

  • Resilient, solution-focused, and able to prioritize tasks.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
