SALARY: $104,800 - $124,450, bonus and long-term incentive eligible

ROLE SUMMARY:

We’re looking for a passionate and highly skilled Zone Technical Expert, Electricity with proficiency in refrigeration, compressed air, and ammonia system operation. In this pivotal role, you'll be the driving force behind our energy efficiency strategy—tracking performance, leading benchmarking, and guiding best-in-class system improvements that reduce electrical load, improve mechanical operation, and enhance reliability.


You’ll also play a vital role as our ammonia systems technical expert, providing critical technical leadership, supporting emergency response, and supporting high-stakes maintenance programs to ensure safety and performance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and sustainability in refrigeration and compressed air system operations and maintenance.

  • Conduct ongoing performance monitoring of purchased electricity across NAZ breweries.

  • Analyze and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to electricity usage and ammonia compliance to zone and global leadership.

  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert (SME) for refrigeration, compressed air, and other major electricity driven systems. Ensuring safe and efficient operation.

  • Provide technical guidance, emergency response and root cause analyses support for ammonia system issues, incidents, and troubleshooting.

  • Support zone environmental and brewery utility teams in the development and review of Process Safety Management (PSM) documentation and procedures.

  • Develop and implement a corporate strategy aligned with short- and long-term sustainability and financial goals.

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive benchmarking program comparing internal electrical use to industry standards and global leaders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and integrate best practices.

  • Manage maintenance plans and best practice routines for relevant equipment.

  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and equipment/process specifications for refrigeration and compressed air systems across the organization.

  • Provide technical input for capital projects involving electrical infrastructure.

  • Conduct on-site assessments and audits to identify efficiency and safety opportunities.

  • Lead training sessions and workshops to promote awareness and education on energy conservation and refrigeration/compressed air equipment operation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field

  • 3+ years’ experience in production environment

  • Proficient in refrigeration (ammonia) and compressed air systems

  • Strong communication/interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational skills
