Eastman - Inspector / Assistant Bottomer Operator

 

Your mission:

• Follow all safety guidelines and procedures as required
• Understand the Job Safety Analysis and Energy Safe Procedures for your position and machine
• Be able to accurately read and interpret the Plant Order form
• Be able to thoroughly and accurately review tubed bags checking against specifications as listed on the Plant Order form
• Monitor quality of production throughout run and keep operator informed of the status of the process
• Be able to operate slide angle machines and perform required specific testing for regular and specialty production orders
• Be able to accurately complete forms documenting test results as well as other record keeping information as required
• Be able to reclaim tubes or bags (manually repair defective product)
• Assists Operator in the safe and efficient operation of the machine
• Inspectors should be able to perform the relief and fill in duties for General Labor employees as needed
• Must possess basic math skills including ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide fractions

 

Your profile:

• Must be capable of lifting 25 pounds
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
