Who You Are

Reporting to the SVP, Finance, the Senior / Executive Director will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's financial strategy, driving financial planning through insightful analysis, and supporting decision-making processes at the corporate level. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of BridgeBio. 

Responsibilities

Financial Planning and Forecasting:  

• Lead the development of the company's annual operating plan and long-range strategic plan, working closely with executive leadership and department heads
• Drive the quarterly forecasting process, providing accurate and timely updates to reflect changes in business conditions and market dynamics
• Develop comprehensive financial models and scenarios to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation

Financial Analysis and Reporting: 

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to evaluate business performance, identify trends, and assess key drivers of revenue and expenses
• Prepare regular financial reports and presentations for executive management and board of directors, highlighting key insights and recommendations
• Collaborate with Investor Relations to provide financial insights and support external communications with investors and analysts

M&A Due Diligence and Integration:  

• Lead financial due diligence efforts for potential mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships, assessing financial risks and opportunities
• Partner with cross-functional teams to develop integration plans and execute post-acquisition integration activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives

Capital Allocation and Investment Analysis:  

• Evaluate investment opportunities and capital allocation decisions, conducting rigorous financial analysis and ROI assessments
• Assess the financial impact of new product launches, research initiatives, and business development opportunities, providing recommendations to optimize returns

Strategic Planning and Decision Support:  

• Partner with senior leadership to develop and refine corporate strategies, providing financial insights and scenario analysis to inform strategic priorities
• Serve as a trusted advisor to executive management, offering strategic guidance and financial expertise to support key business initiatives and investments

Team Leadership and Development:

• Build and mentor a high-performing Corporate FP&A team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning
• Provide leadership and guidance to team members, empowering them to drive impactful results and achieve their professional development goals
