- This position pays between $46,900 - $52,100/yr based on experience
- Oversees the daily activities of the HIM department by maintaining open communication with departmental staff; coaches and mentors staff; empowers employees to complete tasks by providing information and support. Provides communication between coding and practitioners to ensure timely completion of critical documentation.
- Specializes in the supervision of one of the Health Information Management service lines; analysis, data capture, or transcription
- Assists HIM leaders in the development of policies and procedures for the HIM service lines; assists in the development of work flow procedures to enhance process improvements
- Stays current and informed of industry, market and legislative regulations and change and applies the information
