The Opportunity
Production Assistant is responsible for supporting the content stylists on assigned productions. You will be accountable for the acquisition, transport, and preparation of product samples for photography and videography shoots. You will support styling for various shoots to ensure proper look and appearance for QVC and HSN productions standards and brand relevance. This role works onsite at our studio headquarters in West Chester, PA.
Your Impact
Supporting frontend and in-process workflow to enhance creative photography and video content production
Assist in product samples unpacking, prep-work, re-packaging, product assembly, steaming product and maintaining an organized workspace
Maintain model closet and prop storage organization
Manages inventory and consigns products according to project needs
Learns and understands QVC and HSN brand standards, guidelines, and differences
Must understand how to create a total look (environment, model, etc.) while maintaining focus on the product(s) being featured
Assist in prop and accessories selection from QVC and HSN brands and prepare for shoots
Assist in the styling and coordination of outfits for photo shoots (both PD and Creative)
Work with Studio Coordinator to ensure daily product queues are available and prepped
Maintain inventory and organize product flow for the Photography and Videography teams
Create and submit necessary product acquisition requests-MOs, PAF, etc.
Provide overall administrative support for the styling team
What You Bring
Associates or Bachelor’s degree, preferably in an art-related field or equivalent experience
1 plus years of experience in a photo studio, retail merchandising or equivalent.
Must have working knowledge of style trends and current fashion looks. Knowledge of the basic principles of design.
Excellent computer skills. (Internet, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Photoshop, etc.)
