This position is a onsite opportunity in the Abbott Diabetes Care Division. Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC) is seeking a Senior Project Leader to join the Digital Project Management Organization, which is responsible for the development and launch of new Digital products based on the FreeStyle Libre platform, the world's #1 continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) solution. As a leader of new systems programs, you will drive complex projects to commercialize products including wearable sensors, glucose readers and product software.

As a Senior Project Leader, you will set Digital Project strategy, evaluate ideas, prioritize features, define releases with R&D, manage product roadmap, timelines, budget, coordinate and drive ADC worldwide R&D, Operations, Regulatory, Quality and Commercial activities associated with these projects.  Report project status and progress to ADC senior Management. This is an onsite opportunity in Alameda, CA.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Formulates, harmonizes and consolidates project scopes, plans, strategies, and budgets for one or more projects, working closely with functional Project Managers and other Subject Matter Experts from R&D, Commercial, Clinical, Regulatory, Quality, Manufacturing, and other functions.
• Confirms the ongoing strategic rationale for projects, and for the ongoing planning, scheduling, monitoring and reporting or projects.
• Ensures Division-wide thinking and problem-solving are incorporated into project execution.
• Drives for resolution in cross-functional problem solving, communication, and integration.
• Serves as the liaison between the team and management.
• Raises issues to the appropriate level of management.
• Prepares and presents information on an as-needed basis to assure the continuity of projects.
