Inviting applications for the role of PTP Accounts Payable Merchandise – Senior Process Associate – German – Remote EMEA/EU!

In this role, you will manage and oversee the accounts payable (AP) processes for merchandise, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities

·       Process and verify invoices related to merchandise purchases.

·       Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure proper documentation and approval of invoices.

·       Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions.

·       Assist in month-end closing activities by preparing AP reports and reconciliations.

·       Provide support to vendors and internal stakeholders, resolving invoice-related queries and issues.

·       Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.

·       Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

·       Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in AP processing.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications / Skills

·       Fluency in German and a strong command of English

·       High school diploma or equivalent

·       Minimum year of experience in PTP, or a similar role

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software

·       Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards

·       Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

·       Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications / Skills

·       Proven experience in AP, preferably invoice processing and helpdesk

·       Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle

·       Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
