Our busy dermatology practice is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join our busy Dermatology practice!

Job Description

• Serves as a scribe in a fast-paced environment. Prepares notes for (our EMR) via an iPad
• Patient callbacks including test results, prescription refills and questions regarding care
• Facilitates outside patient referrals, medication prior authorizations and medication refills as specified Providers as needed.
• Cross trained to assist front office duties as needed. This includes registration, collection of co-pays & payments, scheduling of appointments and patient reminder calls.

Job Type:

• Full-time

Experience:

• 1 year medical assisting experience
• 1 year scribe experience, preferred
• EMR systems experience

Education:

• Associate degree is preferred

Certifications/Licenses:

Currently licensed Certified Medical Assistant
