PAY RATE: $21.23 Hourly

100% Onsite | Durant, Oklahoma | Monday - Friday | 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Job Purpose or Objective(s): Responsible for performing moderately complex accounting tasks in support of the Department. This role ensures accuracy, integrity, and timely processing of financial transactions and records.

Primary Tasks:

  1. You will input and process general ledger journal entries, ensuring accuracy and proper supporting documentation.

  2. Archive accounting documents, including journal entries, invoices, and bank reconciliations, in accordance with internal policies and audit requirements.

  3. You will review and process invoices and payment requests, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with company policies.

  4. Compile data and prepare financial summaries, reports, charts, and graphs for internal use and management review.

  5. You will research and resolve moderately complex accounting discrepancies or issues in a timely and efficient manner.

  6. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to apply basic math (arithmetic, ratios, proportions or conversions)
  • Excellent oral or written communication skills 
  • Proficient use of Ten Key (by touch) 
  • Understanding of accounting principles
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Intermediate use of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • 2 years of directly related experience
