• Conduct cultural orientations for newly arrived youth

• Assess life skills and create personalized development plans

• Meet monthly with each youth to track progress

• Deliver engaging group workshops on real-world topics

• Build youth voice through a Youth Advisory Council

• Plan fun, inclusive social activities for all URM youth

• Connect youth to vital community resources

• Passionate about youth development

• Experienced in working with diverse or immigrant populations

🎓 Scene 4: Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred (Social Work or related field)

• 2+ years of experience supporting youth

• Background in refugee services or child welfare preferred

• Clear background checks and TB test required

• Valid driver’s license and personal transportation

• Full-time, salaried role

• Work hours are flexible

• 25–30% local travel (DC/MD)

• Hybrid work environment with meaningful in-person engagement
