About the Role & Team

The Adjustments Team is responsible for processing all payroll adjustments related to time interface files, BDC sessions, locked and simulation items, off-cycle payments, car allowances, processing uploads, running payroll simulations and partnering with various business units on pay issues

What You Will Do

This position is responsible for ensuring that all cast members are paid accurately and timely each week along with developing process improvements to automate as much of the manual intervention as possible. This position works closely with our business unit partners to resolve pay issues, process time file errors, and run off-cycle payments. This position also helps out with separations, union card entry, direct deposit entry, banking, deductions, quotas, and any other data entry tasks when time allows.

• Process payroll adjustments and resolve complex pay issues

• Run simulations and locked reports and work with business partners to resolve issues

• Assist with separations, union card entry, direct deposits, and in other areas when needed

This is a 12 month project hire/temporary assignment with no guarantee of permanent employment.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Understanding of off-cycle processing, adjustments, banking,

• Ability to research and resolve pay issues

• Ability to identify process improvements

• Strong understanding of payroll rules

• Strong understanding of paid time off practices and separation rules

• Strong Microsoft Excel skills

• Attention to detail and accuracy

• Demonstrated ability to learn new programs, applications, processes and provide process improvement ideas

• Demonstrated strong customer service skills

• Ability to handle high volume of work in a deadline driven environment and prioritize work

Preferred Qualifications

• One year Payroll experience

• Work experience with large employer with more than 20,000 employees

• Shared Services environment

• SAP experience

• CPP Certification

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or Business preferred
