Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated Electronic Data Interchange/ Electronic Remittance Advice Enrollment Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the enrollment processes within Electronic Data Interchange clearinghouses.

Responsibilities

  • Complete Registration: Ensure registration is received and completed thoroughly and in a timely manner.
  • Generate and Monitor EDI Agreements: Follow up on agreements to meet specific implementation deadlines.
  • Monitor Accounts: Investigate and resolve enrollment denials, errors, and correspondence with payers.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of the account throughout the enrollment process.
  • Customer Service: Address customer requests in Service Plus for EDI clearinghouse issues, such as but not limited to, setting up new users, adding permission, adding workgroups.
  • Maintain working knowledge of workflow, systems, and tools used in the department.

Qualifications

  • In-depth Knowledge: Understanding of the EDI enrollment process.
  • Communication Skills: Clear and effective verbal and written communication.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to multitask and work independently as well as in a team setting.
  • Proficiency in EDI software and clearinghouse platforms (e.g., Availity, Waystar etc.).
  • Strong numerical aptitude and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
