Genesis Santa Monica is looking for a dynamic Internet & Retail Sales Consultant to provide an outstanding customer experience both online and in-person. • Engage with customers online and in-person, guiding them through the vehicle selection and purchasing process.
• Promptly respond to all internet leads and proactively prospect potential customers through calls, emails, and texts to set appointments.
• Demonstrate consultative selling skills by asking thoughtful questions, actively listening, and providing expert advice on vehicle features and options.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and referrals.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends, new vehicle models, and competitive offerings.
• Collaborate with the Sales Manager on objectives, planned activities, and performance reviews.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly and professionally addressing any concerns.
• Take ownership of the customer's experience by assisting with additional tasks to create a positive impression

Qualifications

• Strong background in sales, with a focus on retail sales preferred
• Familiarity with cold calling techniques and building a sales pipeline
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Available to work flexible hours and weekends
• Self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit preferred
• Familiarity with CRM software
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• You must have or acquire a valid California Vehicle Salesperson License

Compensation 

• The estimated annual earnings for this position are $35,152.00 - $150,000.00 after factoring in all forms of compensation including hourly pay, commissions, overtime, etc. 

Employees in this position will primarily be paid commissions based on performance but will also be paid minimum wage for non-sales work and for rest periods.

Please keep in mind that this range may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and location.

Hiring Requirements

• 18 years or older required
