Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) is hiring for a Finance Manager, Controllership Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions.  This person will work with and learn from finance teams in the Field and at Corporate. This person will be energized by teamwork and playing an integral role in helping leaders see beyond the numbers. 

The Finance Manager, Controllership Microsoft Customer and Partner Solutions will enjoy solving complex and ambiguous business problems. You will develop skills in cost management and resource allocation. You will also develop deep understanding of the business you support and have an eye for detail without losing sight of the big picture. You will get the opportunity to build decision making framework around profitable share and marginal costs to drive higher return on investment as we investment to lead the AI wave. can sit across the table with leaders with a crisp and succinct insights to drive decision making and world class sales execution.

Responsibilities

Effective Business Partnerships:

Collaborate and orchestrate with MCAPS Regions and Core teams. Deliver success working across MCAPS Segments and broader finance teams, Engineering Groups and business teams to the clear story on the financial performance and forecasts for MCAPS organisation.

Operating Yield Analysis:

• Collaborate with reporting team in reimagining analytics for actionable insights supporting MCAPS business segments and operating yield across MCAPS resources.
• Drive standardization of measurement for key segment performance and yield indicators across MCAPS
• Drive the execution of strategic projects to simplify field and MCAPS rhythms
• Optimize Financial Processes and Operations
• Improve efficiency and cost per action by simplifying processes and modernizing tools.

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field
  • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 6+ years post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership or Finance work experience
  • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 4+ years post-graduate financial analysis, accounting, controllership, or finance work experience
  • OR equivalent experience.

Controllership IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $72,800 - $144,000 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $95,100 - $157,900 per year.

Controllership IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,800 - $178,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $117,900 - $195,00
