Senior Manager, Category Souring

General Description:

This position will be responsible for Clinical category strategy development, like FSP and Phase I Unit, etc.  in support of BeiGene’s current and planned clinical trials and function outsourcing requirement.

This position will also be responsible for vendor management including strategic relationship maintenance, issue solution, performance tracking and governance meeting organization to ensure quality oversight of suppliers; maximize the value obtained from partnerships with external providers.

Essential Functions of the job:

• Identify current trends in outsourcing practices in the industry
• Lead and support Business engagement to understand their outsourcing requirement and develop category strategy for study and function
• Lead and implement Supplier Relationship Management
• Vendor performance management and issue resolution and risk
• Lead and support the Category Management to consolidate and manage vendor spend
• Oversee key MSA/rate card negotiations with vendors
• Develops effective partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Category effective contracting and execution

Qualifications:

• BS/BA degree in related discipline
• 7+ years of experience in category sourcing

Computer Skills:   

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Contract Management Systems

Other Qualifications:  

• Experience in multi-culture working environment.

Travel: 

• Some limited travel within the US may be required

Language:

• English, Chinese (Nice to have)

Salary Range: $130,300.00 - $175,300.00 annually

BeiGene is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. Actual compensation packages are determined by several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, certifications, relevant education or training, and specific work location. Packages may vary by location due to differences in the cost of labor. The recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for a preferred location during the hiring process.  Please note that the listed range reflects the base salary or hourly range only. Non-Commercial roles are eligible to participate in the annual bonus plan, and Commercial roles are eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
