The Team
There are internships, and then there's the Tindership program. Forget boring, busy work—spend your summer on our team, impacting our business. Tinder interns gain meaningful experience connecting with their mentors and managers, participating in large-scale projects, and collaborating with other interns in our flagship Tindership hackathon. You’ll join an inclusive workplace and gain real-world experiences and exposure to Tinder's culture.
Where you’ll work
This is a hybrid role and requires in-office collaboration three days per week. The position will be located in Los Angeles, CA.

What you'll do:

• Collaborate with product designers on new product development
• Create UX designs, prototypes, and UI mock-ups, including wireframes, flowcharts, and components
• Opportunity to brainstorm and ideate product experiences and see your vision reflected in a global brand
• Research and test new features
• Build relationships with cross-functional team members from Engineering, Product, Marketing, and Data Science and speak to product strategy, design goals, and execution

What we're looking for:

• A student currently enrolled in a design program or passionate about Design, Product Design, UX, or HCI
• Experience in product design, UI design, and/or UX design
• Strong product instincts and UX skills 
• Visual design, layout, and typography skills 
• An eye for simplicity and visual harmony 
• Detail-oriented and can manage multiple competing priorities
• Software proficiency: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Prototyping tools (Figma, Protopie, Adobe XD, Invision, or Principle) 

Nice to have:

• A basic understanding of, or experience with, programming (the language does not matter)
• A basic understanding of statistical analysis
• A working knowledge of how machine learning works
