Journeyman Visual Designer

Delta Solutions & Strategies is seeking a full time Journeyman Visual Designer supporting Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) Space Delta 10 (DEL 10) at the USAF Academy.
 *Estimated award date August 4, 2023, and work will start shortly after that.

What you will be doing:

• Develop, implement, and provide continuous updates to a scalable knowledge management environment (i.e., wiki).
• Provide expertise with data visualization and User Experience (UX), and if required design and test interfaces that facilitate the human-computer interaction and maximize the usability of digital devices, wiki websites, and software with a focus on aesthetics and design.
• Provide expertise in and experience with software engineering and software development, database design, knowledge management and training, and productivity methods suitable for implementation of Agile and DevSecOps project management methods.
• Collaborate with engineers from multiple disciplines to develop and test wiki layouts, interfaces, functionality, and navigation menus to ensure compatibility and usability across browsers or devices.
• Provide system administration services for Wiki to include user management and account services.
• Provide World Wide Web application and database redevelopment and design.
• Provide developmental support of future Space Delta 10 website and new interfaces.  

What you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. 
• 3+ years of experience as a UX designer.
• Excellent UX writing skills and strong understanding of design principles. 
• Familiarity with design tools and proficient with design/wireframe tools
• Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility

Delta Solutions & Strategies offers a generous benefits package to include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), PTO, paid holidays, parental, military and jury duty paid leaves. In compliance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this position is $80,000-$95,000.
