The Care Marketplace team makes sure that our supply of care providers (i.e., coaches, therapists and psychiatrists) matches the demand from the people who are eligible for our care services.

 

We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager, Care Marketplace to be a key contributor on this cross-functional team. Reporting to the Director of Product, Marketplace, you will drive software and operational investments that allow us to better forecast and meet dynamic supply and demand. Sample investments include predicting coaching and clinical supply and member demand and providing a signal about available supply to other parts of the business, as well as specific applications like care-provider/member matching, and prediction of churn, cancellations, and no-shows.

 

This is a senior individual contributor role in a critical part of our business. You will work in close collaboration with multiple teams including operations, machine learning, analytics, marketing, and partnership teams

How your skills and passion will come to life at Headspace Health:

• Lay out a comprehensive strategy and product roadmap for improving marketplace forecasting and our ability to meet demand. As part of this work, Identify, prioritize, and drive machine learning investments that will improve our marketplace forecasting and ability to meet demand.
• Product manage our forecasting of supply and demand, and work with teams across the business to leverage this forecasting in our user experience, member outreach, and demand generation activities.
• Manage stakeholder communication of your projects, including, but not limited to executives.
• Use your awareness of machine learning limitations and pitfalls, including bias and limited explainability, to guard against introducing systems or processes that are not consistent with Headspace Product & Content Development Principles, including “building in belonging” and “stop to bias check.”
• Drive cross-functional stakeholders to data-driven decisions that are inline with company OKRs.
• Up-level your fellow product managers by introducing new practices that improve team effectiveness and cohesion.

 

What you’ve accomplished:

• 5+ years of product management experience at a software company, preferably including healthcare experience.
• Demonstrated experience driving projects that significantly and positively impacted key company goals.
• Practical product management experience with different types of machine learning applications, where you gained a knowledge of the promise and limitations of machine learning.
• Technical depth and understanding, achieved through a formal degree program or hands-on experience.
• Experience managing cross-functional stakeholders in a complex environment
• Ability to self-serve data from various analytical systems to answer key business questions.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

 

Pay & Benefits:

The base salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skills and scope required, relevant licensure and certifications, and unique relevant experience and job-related skills. The base salary range for this role is $104,981-$157,476.
