Sr. Financial Analyst

The Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in driving financial performance and strategic decision-making across four lines of business and multiple subregions. This position is responsible for providing high-quality financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly operating reviews that support the region’s overall strategy and goals.

Hybrid position 3 days in our Channelside office - Candidate MUST be in the Tampa area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with region, subregion, and terminal leadership to analyze KPIs, operational metrics, and variances against budgets
• Create budgets and forecasts for multiple locations across four lines of business within the region
• Provide actionable data to leadership and operations team that support strategic initiatives
• Collaborate with subregion and terminal leadership to conduct monthly operating reviews with actionable insights
• Take initiative to improve processes and tools by using existing skillset or independently researching new methods

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or associated quantitative field of study required; MBA or CPA is a plus
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in FP&A, accounting, or related role
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills, including the following: Power Query, Power Pivot, index/match, sum/offset, indirect formulas, pivot tables, conditional formatting, charts, etc.
• OneStream experience or other CPM (Corporate Performance Management) software experience preferred
• Industry experience in logistics or industrials
• Knowledgeable regarding the conceptual framework underlying financial accounting including income statement/P&L, balance sheet, cash flows, and operational KPIs
• Experience with multi-site/location budgeting
• Passion for problem solving and intellectually curious
• Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
• Ability to easily adapt to changing business needs
• Takes ownership of assigned tasks and delivers high-quality, accurate results on time without frequent supervision
• Communicate clearly and succinctly both verbally and in writing
