We're building Bitkey, a simple and safe self-custody bitcoin wallet that will put customers in control, as well as hardware and software that will help decentralize bitcoin mining and enable new and innovative use cases for bitcoin mining. The Role

Together, they're built by a single, visionary team committed to open development—sharing early, iterating often, and pushing boundaries. It is a highly collaborative team with a wide range of creative opportunities.
We're seeking a Senior Interactive Designer to help lead brand and marketing design across Bitkey and Proto. This is a rare opportunity to shape the identity and voice of two bold, early-stage products with global impact. You'll own high-visibility work across web, campaigns, packaging, and more—bringing stories to life through motion, interactivity, and world-class design craft.

You Will
- Create engaging, polished design directions that are strategically aligned with business objectives
- Proactively seek out information, direction and insights to support your work
- Bring fresh ideas, perspectives and directions to the table
- Drive projects forward even when missing content, direction or assets
- Establish consistency across multiple touch points
- Seek opportunities to improve and extend the brands wherever possible
- Collaborate with team-members to level up design across the team and across Block
- Represent Proto as an important member of the Block Creative design community
- Deliver world class creative work and campaigns from strategy to execution across multiple channels with impact throughout the entire customer funnel
- Take projects from idea to completion, maintaining a high standard of execution
You Have
- At least (7) years of relevant professional experience
- A portfolio that showcases work you were directly responsible for creating
- Experience as a primary contributor to multiple high-impact projects
- In-depth knowledge of Figma, including the ability to create and leverage system elements, such as components and variables
- In-depth knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and other design tools
- Ability to consider, define and utilize user journeys and UX thinking to inform design decisions
- Informed taste based on a deep knowledge of design principles, trends and best practices
- A drive and ability to create world-class brand experiences
- A willingness to push projects forward in spite of ambiguity
- Supplemental, supporting skills, such as motion design, 3D, photography, copywriting or illustration
- A strong desire to collaborate and work in the open
