About the role

The VP, Investor Relations will play a leadership role within the Company in overseeing and enhancing all aspects of communication between the Company and its investors, analysts, and the broader capital markets community. This role is critical in ensuring that the Company’s strategy, financial performance, investment highlights, and business outlook are clearly communicated to all stakeholders, thereby attracting and maintaining investor confidence and enhancing Company shareholder value.
This role is Remote, based in the United States. Preference for candidates located in New York (or other major financial markets).

Essential Functions

Work within a team to develop and execute a comprehensive investor relations strategy that will enhance the Company’s dialogue with capital markets participants
Collaborate with the Company’s Executive leadership, Corporate Development team, and other senior executives to develop reports and presentations for investors
Organize events to engage analysts and institutional investors and broaden understanding of the Company’s business and strategy, and investment rationale
Act as key focal point of contact with institutional investors and research analysts, and proactively engage with potential new investors and research analysts in order to expand the Company’s institutional shareholder base and coverage
Provide insights and feedback internally, based on investor and analyst perspectives, and help to drive strong decision-making based on this feedback
Monitor and analyze market trends, investor sentiment, and competitor actions to provide strategic recommendations
Develop financial models and analytics to track Bitcoin mining competitors, including other public and private Bitcoin miners, to maintain up-to-date view on the competitive landscape
Contribute to the development of the Company’s long-term strategic goals, and effective communication of these strategic goals to the capital markets
Establish and maintain relationships with key industry influencers and strategic partners, including investment banks

Education and Experience

Minimum of 10+ years of combined experience in equity research at a leading financial institution and/or in investor relations at a leading public company
BS/BA in Finance, Economics or related field
Deep understanding of the investor and capital markets ecosystems
Superb communication skills, both written and verbal
Analytical expertise and strong corporate finance background, ability to understand and interpret complex financial models
Ability to collaborate, influence, and work with multiple internal and external stakeholders
Superb organizational and planning skills
Long-term investment mindset geared towards continuous Company, department, team and skill enhancement<
