The OSFM is recruiting for an Internal Auditor (Internal Auditor 3). As the Internal Auditor you will provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services to support OSFM’s operational effectiveness. This role focuses on enhancing agency success by assessing risk, internal controls, and governance processes. Through systematic audits of financial systems, organizational performance, and information technology, the Internal Auditor helps ensure compliance, data integrity, and resource efficiency. Additionally, this position evaluates internal controls, verifies compliance with laws and policies, safeguards assets, and supports strategic goals.

Position Details
This is a full-time, permanent position and is management service and not represented by the union.
This position is based at our Salem, Oregon office and typically reports onsite Monday through Friday; however, flexibility for remote work may be available depending on business needs.
The salary listed is the non-PERS qualifying salary range. When the successful candidate is PERS qualifying, the salary range will reflect the additional 6.95%.

Minimum Qualifications
Six years of experience performing professional-level auditing, investigations, compliance, policy/program, or work closely related to the agency mission; OR
A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field such as business or public administration, finance, economics, computer science, accounting, or a field specific to the Agency's mission AND three years of experience performing professional level auditing, investigations, compliance, policy/program, or work closely related to the agency mission; OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.
